Since then the school has grown from strength to strength and its pupils have achieved a high standard in dance and performance. Our pupils can count on professional guidance in all aspects of dance and musical theatre.
The school has been represented at various venues.

About the teachers
Dance Teacher / principal DAWN COUCKE - BATD I.D.S owner and principal Dawn Coucke is a member of the British Assosiation Of Teachers Of Dance and has been dancing from an early age. She has performed on stage for many years and has been teaching dance and Choreography in various countries enabling her to bring vast experience to her own dancing school. Dawn is also a Choreographer and has created pieces for the stage and dance exam work. She has created a school with a unique style of teaching and motivates its pupils to achieve the best they can give.  
Dance Teacher GEMMA THOMPSON - BATD Gemma has been dancing and performing from an early age and she qualified as a BATD teacher at 18. She has been teaching in various dance and theatre schools across the country. Gemma is also a Choreographer and has created pieces for the stage and dance exam work. She has a lot of expierence teaching children of all ages and is BATD qualified in Tap, Modern, Ballet and Jazz.
Vocal Coach SARA DURKIN - MUSICAL THEATRE GRADUATE Sara Durkin is a graduate of London Studio Centre where she successfully completed a 3 year musical theatre diploma. Sara has worked professionally in the performing arts industry since the age of 18 and her professional credits include; Cabaret performer (singer/dancer) , Olau' Britannia mini cruises, Cover for Pearl & Dinah Starlight Express London (West End) , Dinah in Starlight Express Germany (Bochum).Various corporate films and voice over work.
